The penultimate week of the EWC did not disappoint. Look back at the biggest moments immortalized by these wonderful photographs 👇 🥹FIFA legend Msdossary couldn’t contain his emotions after learning Team Falcons, the esports team he co-founded, had officially placed first in the Esports World Club Championship and won a life-changing $7m. 🥳 It was a wonderful moment as Msdossary celebrated the Saudi Arabian club’s triumph with the ecstatic local fans. 🌟 Starcraft II champion Clem dominated everyone in his path, dropping just two maps the entire tournament and sweeping favorite Serral 5-0 in the final. His win means that Team Liquid now has a sizeable lead for 2nd place in the Club Championship 😢 Clem’s teammate Cure wasn’t so lucky, this was the emotional moment he lost the Starcraft II knockouts final and missed out on the top four. 🤩 20-year-old EA FC 24 champion jafonso, who barely qualified for the tournament in the Last Chance Qualifier, went through a marathon of 21 games to claim the title and $300k prize. 🏆 Atlanta FaZe recovered from their disappointing finish in CDL by winning the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III tournament and $600k in prize money. 🤛 100 Thieves’ JoeDeceives, who had a fantastic tournament, congratulated FaZe including his good friend aBeZy who helped him settle in the CDL scene. ⚔️ The COD semifinals brought one of esports’ greatest rivalries to the EWC as FaZe and OpTic Gaming faced off once again, many years after the legendary battles in MLG and Gamebattles. #ewc #esportsworldcup #esports #gaming
