Join us at Build2Perform where our Henry Metcalfe will be presenting innovative methodologies for calculating maximum diversified electrical loads, to reduce the demand performance gap. This performance gap has a detrimental impact on clients, developers, engineers and contractors; and reduces improvement opportunities for neighbouring buildings as well as having a significant impact on national infrastructure. In his session, Henry will define diversity as it applies to electrical demand and explore how we can more accurately predict maximum demand based on factors like time, location, and occupancy behaviour. Additionally, Henry will be exploring the role of battery storage in manipulating diversity, to improve flexibility and resilience in electrical systems for a Smart Grid future.

Next week I will be speaking at the Build2Perform event, covering new methodologies for calculating maximum diversified loads, by using real-world data to close this infamous performance gap. I’m looking forward to it, do come and say hello! Details below. 14 Nov, 12:15 - 13:15, Synergy Theatre, Excel London.
I hope it was fun.
This is such a relevant topic especially when looking at kVA on genuinely low energy developments as the gap is even more shocking!
