The opportunity is there, and as Draghi's report on competitiveness highlighted, we need to seize it, and that requires massive investment, regulatory harmonisation and simplification, and education in the use of GenAI. The development of GenAI is about giving European companies the ability to adapt to the changing world. As the McKinsey Global Institute's report points out, 𝐢𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬, 𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐈 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝. The development of GenAI is also about education.
