The first post-Covid full-fledged Achema exhibition exceeded all expectations! From June 10-14, we had the pleasure of reconnecting with old friends and customers and meeting many new people, including prospective customers and from our partner organizations. Business discussions were vibrant, with the Annex 1 revisions being a key focus—(alsico group) covering lifecycle validation of Clean Room secondary garments, cleaning of disinfectant residues, tackling corrosion, and (Wilco AG - CCIT and Visual Inspection Solutions) testing for the presence of vacuum in vials stoppered under vacuum. (Maschinpex Maschinenbau GmbH) Customers found value in the semiautomatic visual inspection process which allows to inspect difficult containers as well as containers with small batch volumes like high-value-added products. (Ackley Machine Corporation) Customers stopped by to share their happy experiences that enables them to efficiently print/laser tablets and softgels at high speeds leading to the lowest cost per printed product. Additionally, there was significant interest in (ATS Life Sciences Systems) fill-finish solutions for sterile containers AND extending to the final assembly of medical devices. The medical devices sector, in India, shows immense growth potential. 🏗️ Moving to Charny: a strategic decision for the future 🏗️ In 1965, Sanimax made a bold choice: to move its rendering plant from Saint-Malo to Charny. Why was this decision taken? 🌍 The Saint-Malo area was becoming increasingly urbanized, making the processing of residues difficult to manage. After a few months' research, Sanimax found an ideal location, close to the abattoirs and offering the space needed to modernize its operations. With a million square feet of land, the plant was able to integrate the best available technologies and reduce its environmental footprint. ⚙️ Even today, the Charny plant remains at the cutting edge of innovation, testifying to Sanimax's ongoing commitment to being a leader in its field. 🚀

Finishing this week in Frankfurt after visiting our partners exhibiting at the Techtextil 🟦 1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣4️⃣ days of fair where our partners have presented their products and latest developments in the field of technical fabrics 🧵 Textile is not only fashion, but it can be found in many other applications. Here are some of the most curious that the fair has left me: ▫️coating of air conditioning ducts ▫️bulletproof panels ▫️personal protective equipment (PPE) ▫️intimate hygiene products ▫️bubble rooms ▫️coating of oil-bearing pipes Also surprising are the properties of the fabrics, which are not only limited to thermal insulation 🥶 but also have antibacterial 🦠antimicrobial 🔪 and fireproof 🔥 among others.
