It is amazing how complicated labelling can be... The number of slides and labelling schemes for small scale clinical studies can get overwhelming, let alone scaling up within clinical laboratories. I could see a tool like this paying off quickly, not just in reduced consumable costs and clarity, but also in fewer headaches for lab staff. If Leica doesn't already do this, it could be great to see a companion product to enable labelling and consistent accessioning for multi-analyte workflows (thinking of eppendorf and blood collection tubes).
