🌍✨ I'm so excited about the Multi-Culti ERG recognition! This marks the first-ever official ERG at TÜV SÜD that champions cultural diversity where all nationalities are welcome. It's a huge milestone for us, highlighting our commitment to inclusiveness and global people growth. Thank you Behnoush Behdad-Lohmann, Johannes Bussmann and Markus Schwarzenböck for all your support. 🌏 The goal is fostering One Multi-Cultural TÜV SÜD! 🌐 As our world and business expand, we encounter new horizons that require us to navigate cultural nuances with colleagues and customers. Embracing and celebrating these differences is crucial. Trust me, it can be challenging but also incredibly fun! 😄 I remember one of my first experiences abroad. With my not-so-great French, I tried to tell a coworker that the summer was very hot. Unfortunately, I used the wrong words and ended up saying I was very hot! 😅 These little, funny mishaps teach us to give the speaker a second chance to understand how the situation happened. 😅 Understanding and respecting cultural nuances is key. For example, in Singapore, it's important to communicate requirements in writing first and then have a short call. In Korea, it can be considered rude to use only one hand when receiving something. And in Colombia, flexibility is key! 🌍✋📝 By valuing these differences, we enhance our ability to move further and faster together as One TÜV SÜD. 🚀💬 Let's continue to embrace our diverse backgrounds and drive forward with inclusiveness at the forefront Laura Díaz Herranz, Leonardo Florez, Sopna Begum, Erdem Köygülü. 🚀💬 #Diversity #Inclusion #GlobalGrowth #CulturalNuances #TÜVSÜD

❓“Who are you outside of this organization?”❓ During my 3-year journey in AIESEC in Vietnam, this question has echoed in my mind countless times, especially as I became one of the longest-serving members. It urged me to reflect: Who am I beyond the roles and titles I've held here? Though I’ve shared my AIESEC experiences on Facebook before, this is the first time I’m reflecting on LinkedIn, hoping that this post inspires someone in my network to learn more about AIESEC—an experience that has shaped my identity and career path profoundly. "Did you stay in AIESEC so long because it was your comfort zone?" Absolutely not. Even though I stayed in similar roles for three consecutive 6-month phases, I never felt entirely comfortable. Each phase presented new challenges and questions, each role offering a different lesson that continues to influence my career and character. ⭐️ Alumni Engagement Manager - The Lesson of Resilience Through Innovation: Resilience became my guiding principle as I reapplied for this position three times, leading it for 1.5 years, from its creation until its merger into HR. But resilience isn't just about repetition—it's about reinventing. I dreamed of building an impactful alumni network, and with various strategy, I sought to innovate and adapt to create meaningful outcomes. ⭐️ Local Finance and Legality Manager - The Lesson of Empowering Leadership How could you lead in an area you're unfamiliar with? This role answered that for me. Growth demands breaking through limitations, but a seed only thrives in the right soil. I learned that leadership is not about doing everything yourself but about empowering others to excel in their own domains. By nurturing the right people, I learned to grow alongside them. ⭐️ Local HR and Alumni Engagement Manager - Talent Share to Talent Care Sharing is caring, but to share, we must first care. Through our Member Experience Program, I initiated tools and sessions to foster connection, ensuring that both leadership and members felt cared for. When we care, we empower people to share, creating an organization that moves forward together. 🌟Daring to step in, daring to step out 🌟 Entering AIESEC took immense courage, battling fear and self-doubt. But leaving took just as much bravery—accepting that I would no longer be a leader here, but instead a newcomer to the next chapter of my life. The question “Who are you outside of this organization?” will stay with me, serving as a reminder that no matter where we go or what roles we take on, we remain true to the self we’ve built. And this is me—Ngọc, Ết, an ex-AIESECer, ready for what comes next. #AIESECexperience #JoinAIESEC

خالص التهنئة من القلب بمناسبة يوم التأسيس السعودي. People from Saudi Arabia & India had been enjoying socio-cultural ties for centuries. Both have their own set of deep rooted traditions. So, on this occasion of 'Saudi Founding Day', our office cherished those traditions & customs by organising a Traditional Dress Competition and Cultural Performance. All the employees enthusiastically participated & celebrated the 'Saudi Founding Day-2024'. The celebrations reflected back on Kingdom's 300 year old historical roots as well as its present achievements and the bright future, as it confidently strides toward the "VISION 2030". MyTake: Such eventful celebrations also help the multi-cultural teams understand each other's history, traditions & heritage. This broadens one's perspective, builds trust and camaraderie, and promotes effective collaboration. It is very important because most of the Global projects are executed by teams which are multi-cultural by composition. These individuals come from different cultures, had their own unique experiences and when that is not understood properly, it can lead to misunderstanding & at times result in conflicts. However, it can be easily overcome once they gain an understanding of the individuals in a team, their history, traditions, heritage & culture. #Saudi Founding Day 2024 #Global Projects #One Team One Goal #Multi-Cultural Teams #projectmanagement #larsenandtoubro #LTEH #larsenandtoubro
