I am happy to announce the workshop Mathematics in Industry 2024 that I co-organize. It takes place in the Institute of Mathematics of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 10:00 to 15:00 (CEST). The seminar will be held in a hybrid mode with both onsite and online presence. For more information, refer to the webpage https://lnkd.in/eKzfdvN3 The aim of the workshop is to foster cooperation between industry and mathematicians working in academia. There will be presentations of four successful collaborative projects with talks given by mathematicians and representatives of industry. Participation is free of charge, but registration is required through the online form at the webpage. The deadline for registration is September 9, 2024. The workshop is supported by the Strategy AV21 of the Akademie věd České republiky, and it is organized under the auspices of the Czech Network for Mathematics in Industry eu-maths-in.cz, the Czech member of EU-MATHS-IN. Anyone interested in industrial applications of mathematics is welcome to join us.
