It’s great to be in São Paulo learning more about the amazing trade and investment opportunities between Canada and Brazil. Over the next few days, I am excited to meet with more Brazilian businesses to explore areas of collaboration. In 2022, bilateral trade between the two countries totaled $12.6 billion with an additional $24.4 billion in direct Canadian investment into Brazil, according to EDC. Huge thanks to the Canada's 2SLGBTQI+ Chamber of Commerce (CGLCC) for the invitation and for organizing, and special thanks to the Trade Commissioner Service | Service des délégués commerciaux, Export Development Canada | Exportation et développement Canada, BCCC Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce, and Cescon, Barrieu, Flesch & Barreto Advogados for welcoming us to Brazil and sharing such valuable insights on the local economy and trade relations. Canadian businesses are often unaware of the incredible free services you can receive from the Trade Commissioner Service | Service des délégués commerciaux to expand into new markets. #brazil #canada #canadabrazil #export #smallbiz #import #trade #2slgbtqi+ #entrepreneurship
