Google NotebookLM can turn any research paper into a podcast. AI tool that can generate podcasts of two speakers talking about the contents from various sources like research papers, articles, and more. Deddy Das from X created this 20min podcast from a 155 page report from Goldman Sachs on Generative AI in 2024 with Gen AI. He used NotebookLM for audio and Headliner for the video. Here's how to do it: 𝟭. 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗜𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: Visit notebooklm.google.com. If you are logged into Google, it will log you in automatically. Click "Create" at the bottom, then select a file or drag and drop your document. 𝟮. 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆: Once the paper is uploaded, NotebookLM will provide you with a summary of the document. 𝟯. 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝗣𝗼𝗱𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁: Click the "Generate" button under "Audio Overview." NotebookLM will produce a podcast based on the uploaded paper. 𝟰.𝗟𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗣𝗼𝗱𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘀: When you're ready, click the podcast to hear two AI voices discuss the paper. 𝟱. 𝗔𝗱𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲: To change the playback speed or download the podcast, click the three dots. Make it public by providing access and sharing the link with others.
