Wonderful and interesting first day at IACEE International Association for Continuing Engineering Education World Conference complete - 2 brilliant workshops. First on designing effective Continuing Engineering Education (CEE) classroom learning activities. Patricia Caratozzolo Jorge Membrillo-Hernández I loved the creativity of the exercise of asking us to take on personas of famous artists to recommend developments in Continuing Engineering Education. I had Edvard Munch. What do you think I said? Second workshop on potential for AI to support Continuing Engineering Education. Loved practical group tasks exploring benefits and challenges of using generative AI to make CEE more sustainable Robert Prakash and Anita Chawla; also great practical examples (around using AI to translate into other languages and building a teaching assistant chatbot) and other fantastic sharing by delegates. 🌟 Exciting News from the Università degli Studi di Padova! 🌟 We are thrilled to announce the launch of #FOCUS: Forward-Optimization-thinking Competition Uniting Students creativity. This innovative educational project is part of the course #Advanced #Methods for #Optimization of #Machine #Thermofluid #Dynamics, offered by the Dipartimento di Ingegneria Industriale - DII UNIPD. The course is led by me, Prof. Ernesto Benini, and the initiative will be supported by Manuel Casablanca. FOCUS is designed as a #student #competition, where groups will challenge each other to explore and implement advanced optimization techniques and #artificial #intelligence for the automatic #optimization of engineering machines and devices. This initiative aims to foster creativity, teamwork, and forward-thinking strategies in engineering design, offering students a chance to showcase innovative solutions for real-world engineering problems. 🎓 I am thrilled to announce that I have successfully completed my Ph.D.! Recently, at Università degli Studi di Cassino e del Lazio Meridionale and in collaboration with Hochschule Ansbach - University of Applied Sciences, I successfully completed my Ph.D. journey in 'Methods, Models, and Technologies for Engineering,' defending my thesis titled "Artificial Intelligence-based Optimization and Material Ageing Studies to improve geometrical and mechanical performances of parts manufactured through Additive Manufacturing processes." 📖 My research highlighted how #AI integration can significantly improve both the geometrical and mechanical performances of produced parts, contributing greatly to the sustainability and efficiency of manufacturing processes, crucial in the era of #Industry4_0. 🔎 This milestone represents not only the conclusion of an intensive study path but also the beginning of a new phase in my professional career, where I hope to apply the skills acquired to face and solve innovative challenges in the field of #engineering. 💡 A special thanks goes to my supervisors, colleagues, friends and family for their unconditional support. I am excited about moving forward with the knowledge and skills gained and actively contributing to technological progress and research.

Today, we are thrilled to host our EU4DUAL - The European Dual Studies University partners for a workshop focused on identifying ideas for collaborative projects in Engineering for Sustainable and Digital Industry. Researchers from our universities will work on four key subtopics: Human-Machine Interaction, Additive Manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence, and Circularity. Zabala Innovation France provided a presentation that included a screening of upcoming calls and guidance for proposal submissions for collaborative projects. We extend our thanks to the 30 participants at ESTIA and the 12 participants who joined us online. EU4DUAL is a European initiative aimed at fostering dual education systems and enhancing collaboration between universities and industries. The 6th International Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Education (WAIE 2024), the 2nd International Conference on Management Information System (ICMIS 2024) and the 7th World Symposium on Communication Engineering (WSCE 2024), was held in Tokyo, Japan during September 28- 30, 2024. I had the valuable opportunity to present my research paper at the conference. 🎓 ICMIS 2024 & WSCE 2024 Conference Highlights: - Presented my research on "Leveraging Artificial Intelligence Feature Selection for Cybersecurity Network Anomaly Intrusion Detection". - The international conference brought together professors, researchers, experts, and scholars around the world who presented and discussed their research results and addressed open issues in related fields. - This conference covered a wide range of interesting topics related to all theoretical and practical aspects, but not limited to Artificial Intelligence in Education and Educational Robotics, E-Commerce, Service-Based Artificial Intelligence, and Information Management. My journey in Japan so far, has provided me unique opportunities and experiences, all thanks to Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and my supervisor Professor YAMAZAKI Tatsuya at Niigata University | 新潟大学. I look forward to more academic and industrial collaborations. 🙏 🎉
