To be honest with myself, writing every day isn’t easy. I did not always feel like writing. Some days, writing feels so easy, and other days, it feels like there’s nothing to say. When I started this challenge, I wasn’t sure if I could keep up. There were days I questioned why I was doing it. Skipping a day or two always felt tempting but I kept showing up, and each post felt like a small step forward. With time, I realized that writing isn’t just about sharing an idea or experience. It is a way of connecting with yourself and others. The more you write, the clearer your thoughts become as writing shapes how you think and brings new ideas to the surface. Writing consistently is a way to connect your ideas, make sense of experiences, and even inspire others. Always feel stuck or uninspired, pick up your pen and write. Push through the doubt, and the distractions, and write. You never know who might need to read your words, or how much you’ll learn about yourself in the process. It's Day 14 of the 14-day Writersco challenge and truth be told, I enjoyed every bit of it. #Writersco14dayswritingchallenge #writingchallenge #contentwriting #uxdesigner #writing

🖋️ How to start writing? I strongly feel that starting with a good hook makes it much easier to finish the rest. Many of us want to write. Many of us have been writing for a long time. But both beginners and experienced writers face a common challenge: how to start writing. Whenever I have managed to get the hook and basic structure right beforehand, completing the rest of the writing has become much easier. But how to create these? 💡I have 5 Tips for an engaging beginning that hooks your readers: 1. Create a Captivating Hook: Begin with an intriguing question, surprising fact, or bold statement to grab attention. 2. Set the Scene: Use vivid descriptions to draw readers into your setting. 3. Introduce a Relatable Character: Present a character who sparks interest and empathy. 4. Establish Tone and Urgency: Set the mood and introduce a sense of immediacy to keep readers engaged. 5. Revise for Impact: Continuously refine your opening to ensure it’s clear, punchy, and memorable. Crafting a strong start can make difference. This is what the 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 do to become 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁. Here are 5 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 you need to 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 to get in the writing zone and stay there: Don't wait for the perfect idea... 1. 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁. 𝗔𝗻𝘆 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁. ↳ Sit down, open a doc, and get moving. It will probably suck — that’s part of it. ↳ Once you get something on paper, you have momentum. Writing psychology matters. But don't trust yourself — be systematic… 2. 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 ↳ Especially if you’re newer, establish dedicated time to write. ↳ And write daily. Approach writing like a craft with a 10,000-hour rule. Don't expect results without reps. The real work doesn't begin until you're cutting down... 3. 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝘁. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲. ↳ This is the hard part. Cut down. Be attached to nothing. ↳ If your word count is going up, you're not editing. In extreme cases, I've taken 3,000-word documents down to 400. You can always cut 100. 4. 𝗘𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘀. ↳ Prioritize even more. Take things out that don't directly target the essentials. ↳ Make your concepts more targeted; precision brings writing alive. ↳ Refine your style. How you say something is just as conceptually demanding as finding the right content. You're almost there, but so many people sell themselves short at the finish line... 5. 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗴. ↳ Read aloud. Don’t let silly mistakes overshadow hours and hours of work. ↳ Hit publish. Same with starting — just do it. Follow these 5 steps methodically and you're already in the 𝘁𝗼𝗽 10%. P.S. Nobody became a great writer overnight. But anyone can get better over time. --- 🛎 𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 for more tips on how to start, get better, and write something compelling. ♻️ 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 to help spread the word (get it? earth-shattering punnery). #writing #writingtips #essaywriting #speechwriting #productivity

I lost track of writing. Writing isn’t always easy. Words don’t just flow effortlessly unless you are clear and start with intention✍️ Even abstract art needs imagination, and writing is no different. If you're lost or distracted, it’s tough to catch the train of creativity. 🏃♂️ Here’s what I felt working for me when I came across these hurdles.? Writer’s block as they say 🛣 Distract the distraction: Instead of quitting habits like mindless scrolling or TV cold turkey, set a timer for 5-10 minutes and when it goes off, just stop and switch your activity. 📵 Embrace silence: Out of ideas? Sit in stillness. Calm your mind. Give the words space to find you. Revisit your work: Reread your past writing. You’ll be surprised how it reignites your confidence and creativity. Before you know it, you’ll be back on track—ready to write and create again. Just like how I did with this post 😉. Writing Process I understand that writing can be tiring, and I can relate to the struggle. There are times when I feel lost and unable to write, even though I have a planned content calendar. However, there are a few writing processes I have come to understand that will guide you. There are 5 Important Steps I take to get going and they include: Step 1: Prewriting a. Brainstorm. Gather ideas b. Choose a topic. pick the best Step 2: Drafting a. Plan your story by creating an outline. b. Start writing and allow the magic you've brainstormed to flow. Step 3: Revision a. Read aloud ( check how it sounds) b. Add details ( make it come alive) Step 4: Edit a. Be a detective by checking your mistakes after writing. b. Get advice. Ask for help if need be. Final Step: Publishing a. it's your final copy so write neatly b. Show it to the world by sharing your work. Follow the following writing processes and let me know how far this has helped you. #day15ofconsistencywithtechsisi #writingprocess #publish #edit #brainstorm #revise

The Golden Rule of Writing: Just Start.✨ There are countless tips out there on improving your writing, but the golden tip remains the simplest: Just start. 🪽 You won’t figure out your style or rhythm until you actually sit down and write. The second golden tip? Read more. 📚 Explore the genres you love, dive into new ones, and study different writing styles. Some authors take their time crafting vivid descriptions. Others stick to concise, one-line imagery that keeps the pace snappy and light. As a reader, I enjoy both styles—sometimes I want rich descriptions, other times a fast-paced narrative. Neither approach is wrong.🌿 But as a writer, I aim to find balance. ⚖️ I blend description, narration, and dialogue to maintain the story's flow. Too much detail can slow down a great story, while too little might make it feel hollow. Finding this balance isn’t a fixed formula—it’s an intuition you develop over time. And the only way to develop it? Start writing. Read more. 🖋️📖 Find your style. Learn from others but don’t copy—because your unique style is what will set you apart. 🌟 What’s your writing approach? Do you prefer detailed descriptions or a fast-paced narrative? Let me know your thoughts! 💬 #WritingTips #CreativeWriting #WritingCommunity #WritersLife #Storytelling #Authorslife

Be aware that: Writing 7 days a week won't get you leads. (If you're not improving your writing) The old traditional writing process - • Stare at a blank page, • Wrestle with ideas and • Hope for inspiration to strike. I used to hate it because - It wastes my time and energy. The good thing is, I changed my approach. Now I practice writing BACKWARDS. This might sound crazy, but hear me out. Instead of searching for ideas, you start with the ending. This helps in - ⤷ Clarity and focus. ⤷ Efficient use of the time. ⤷ Engaging audiences till the end. ⤷ Stronger and more epic storytelling. Here's how I write backwards, it's quite simple -> 1. I define my single objective. 2. I brainstorm the powerful ending. 3. I reverse engineer my full narrative. 4. I fill up all the needed gaps in content. 5. I read thrice and refine it as much as I could. I feel knowing the finish line keeps your writing focused and cuts out the fluff. Try this next time. Start with an ending. See where it takes you. P.S. What is your secret to good writing? Come on, spill it out. ♡
