The easiness of the installation of the protective nets on vines was tested as well as their resistance to different mechanical stresses. The nets varied in terms of material composing them and their assembly. The efficiency of those different materials to protect the vines from spring frost damages will be tested on vines after the project. EURATEX: A Year of Advocacy, Action, and Achievements As we close the year, we reflect on the work EURATEX staff accomplished in 2024 to deliver results for the textile and clothing industry: 📊 Key Highlights of 2024 ✅ 105 meetings with EU institutions to advocate for fair trade, competitive energy pricing, and balanced regulatory frameworks. ✅ 119 meetings with members, ensuring the industry's voice is united and strong. ✅ 76 media initiatives (press releases, interviews, and articles) amplifying the industry's challenges and priorities. ✅ 13 events organized and 109 speaking engagements, spotlighting key issues like the EU-Mercosur FTA, energy, and circularity. ✅ Published 34 position papers to influence policy on critical topics like trade and sustainability. 💡 Behind every policy win, event, and partnership is the hard work of EURATEX staff and members. The objective was to determine if the new technology can further optimize Textile Change’s fibre-to-fibre recycling technology by reducing the treatment time as well as lower the required process temperature significantly. The successful integration of the equipment underscores the potential of the new technology enhancing process efficiency and sustainability.
