That is maybe the most effective picture to point out one of our biggest challenges. We have to extend the attendance of our physician specialists (e.g. cardiologists, gastroenterologists) to provide specialist‘s care and non-urgent procedures among the longest period of the day (let’s say 7:00 a.m. - 22.00 pm). I‘m sure we will put our care on a higher level of quality, reduce costs, pushing up the capability of patient-treatments and prevent overcrowding in ED. I‘m looking foreward motivating enough colleagues to make this happen. Thanx for a great picture.

🌙 Night Shift Nutrition: Fueling Energy and Performance 🌙 Next week I am presenting to a company on Boosting Energy and Productivity whilst on night shift. And last month I did a few night shifts (see below!)......So here are my top tips that I did to ensure I was in tiptop form for work and also what I'll be discussing with the employees of this well known software development company. For shift workers, nutrition isn't just about staying full—it’s about staying energized, alert, being on top of your game and supporting long-term health. Here’s how "eating right" through the shift patter can make all the difference: 🥗 Pre-Shift Meal: Start strong with a balanced meal rich in: 1. Lean proteins (chicken, tofu, or fish) 2. Healthy fats (e.g. avocado, nuts and olive oil) 3. Any vegetables in your fridge or freezer 4. Low GI carbohydrates (brown Basmati rice, wholemeal pasta, or quinoa). This combo sustains blood sugar levels and prevents those dreaded energy crashes.
