We are proud to announce that SÖKTAŞ CCO Seyhan Aktemur has been invited to join the advisory board of the Sustainability Pledge, the call to action resulting from the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) project ‘Enhancing Transparency and Traceability of Sustainable Value Chains in Garment and Footwear’ that is being implemented with UN/CEFACT, in collaboration with the International Trade Centre (ITC) and with funding from the European Union. 𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 – the event promoted by Edana, the international nonwoven industry association– took place on 24-26 September in Rome, gathering a record number of 549 delegates from 212 companies and 37 countries. The conference, structured across five key sessions, featured a number of prominent speakers who addressed a wide range of crucial topics for the industry. Among the main topics were cutting-edge innovations and eco-design, market trends, the new European regulations, the future of absorbent hygiene products, sustainability, and many others. These three days of discussion and insights were highly valuable and explored critical issues and innovative solutions to meet the future challenges of the industry.
