The panelists offered several insightful strategies for increasing utilization and engagement. They discussed the following methods to improve awareness & drive desired behavior: -Develop a comprehensive communications plan. -Maintain a scorecard to monitor program effectiveness & make necessary adjustments. -Analyze data, including feedback from employee conversations. -Fund communications budget using vendor credits, wellness funds & repurposed funds from underperforming programs. -Direct electronic communications to employees & their spouses, capturing spouse emails during annual enrollment. -Leverage resources from existing vendors, such as printed materials, electronic materials, webinars & educational videos. -Utilize multiple communication channels & consider collaborating with your internal marketing & communications departments. -Launch & promote new programs and highlight existing ones outside of the annual enrollment period. -Solicit feedback from employees through surveys, focus groups, and an open-door policy & encourage employee testimonials. -Ensure managers have a general understanding and awareness of benefits programs so they can effectively support employees, as managers are often the first line of support.

Why is Xtalks losing potential webinar attendees? This company is doing a fantastic job of connecting practitioners with the content they need, such as webinars, videos, discussions, and virtual events. However, I think they are losing potential webinar attendees. Here is why… For example, their webinar named “Protein Quantitation and Binding Kinetics Analysis” took place on Thursday, June 20, 2024. On the webinar presentation page (see screenshot below), there is no way to capture the information of researchers interested in the event who can’t be present. From experience, at least 90% of people who arrive on this page will not register for the event, and they don’t have any way to stay in touch with them. To avoid losing them forever… They need to create an offer for the researchers interested in the webinar who can’t be present. This way, they will be able to build a list of qualified leads on autopilot that they can reach out to for future webinars. PS: Below, I show you an example of an offer that will interest the researchers who can’t attend the webinar.

At most trade shows, only a fraction of attendees are actually qualified and ready to discuss your services. So how do you identify those high-value prospects and secure meetings ahead of time—without spending hours you don't have? Or worse, leave the show having only spoken to companies that have already selected a service partner. If you’re like most teams, you probably follow a similar routine: Marketing spends hours scraping the conference attendee list, organizes it into an Excel sheet, and hands it over to sales. Sales opens the file and sees hundreds of names—an overwhelming amount, with no clear way to qualify them. Some might block off a few hours, grit their teeth, and brute-force their way through the list—tabs open, LinkedIn searches underway, and connection requests flying.
