The most valuable lesson I take from my 15 years working with Marc and our MetrumRG colleagues is that blunt empiricism is never enough. Quantitative scientists (including statisticians) need to grapple with *why* drugs work, not just *whether* they work. Quality decision making requires an intelligent tension and interplay between theory and empiricism. Highly recommend this talk!
We're thrilled to share that our Founder and Chairman of the Board, Dr. Marc Gastonguay, will be featured in the ISoP Sheiner Lecture Series! Join us for an encore of his award-winning presentation, originally presented at ACoP8 in October 2017. 🗓️ July 31st: Take a journey back in time and hear Marc’s award-winning lecture: “Theory, Empiricism, and a Vision for the Continued Growth of Pharmacometrics.” Click to Register: https://lnkd.in/g5SGBvUM #ISOP #SheinerLectureSeries #Pharmacometrics #MetrumRG
