This partnership marks a significant step forward in fostering global cooperation, supporting innovative solutions for secure digital student data management, and promoting best practices in higher education digitization. 🌍📚 As Ann Marie Lyseng, Chair of PCCAT, shared: "PCCAT is thrilled to collaborate with the GDN Network, connecting networks in Canada and globally to achieve shared goals for learner mobility and access." We're very happy to share this video from one of our model clients, the Coalition ontarienne de formation des adultes (COFA) loosely translated as the Ontario Coalition for Adult Education, a network of Literacy and Basic Skills #LBS educators in Franco-Ontario: https://lnkd.in/gYdtmtRR One thing we like: they actually SAY #OpenBadges and even better, they're focused on evaluating and recognizing #nonformallearning and #informallearning as a key part of their #workforceskills strategy. They're thinking way beyond badges for training courses... This English version of the video describes really well how they're leveraging the CanCred badging platform for #professionaldevelopment mapped to a multilevel role-based #competency framework. They're using evidence-based assessment with badge application forms, peer endorsements to support individual applications and 3rd party organizational endorsement to support COFA's credibility as an issuer. The current phase is targeted at provider #PD, but a later phase will be rolled out for their adult learners. All can use the free CanCred Passport #badgeportfolio platform, as well as sharing to LinkedIn and other sites.
