Twenty-Twenty-Four I’m just going to call it the Year of Learning. The year wasn’t anything less than a roller coaster. There’s so much that did go wrong, but there was much more that went right. The best part is the things that did go wrong won’t ever go wrong again, since I’ll be carrying the learnings forward. So Here’s my recap of 2024 - 💠 Successfully established 3 and Powered 2 Conferences under The Veritas Group 💠 Created two projects - Kaizen For Change (NGO advocating for Humanitarian Wellbeing) and Verses (Organisation for Cultural Events). 💠 Auditioned and got into two of my college’s prestigious societies - Iris, The Film & Photography Society, P.G.D.A.V. College and TechWhiz- The I.T. Society, PGDAV 💠 Served as the Chief Advisor for 6 Model United Nations Conferences. 💠 Organised probably one of the finest Conferences of the Faridabad Circuit - The Verizon MUN Maiden Edition. 💠 Conducted MUN workshops and taught 1,000+ Students 💠 Got into Delhi University. 💠 Created history after bagging the House Cup upon leading the weakest house at GD Goenka Signature School. 💠 Served under the Executive Board of 20+ MUNs. 💠 Drove my first ever road trip of over 300 Kms. Everything I listed above were major achievements, but my biggest one was - 💠 Stopped listening to people who tried to hold me down. See achievements come when you let go of fear. When you stop letting people tell you what you can and cannot do. Key takeaway? “कुछ तो लोग कहेंगे लोगो का काम है कहना, छोड़ो बेकार की बातों में कहीं बीत ना जाये रहना” I have bigger plans laid down for 2025. And the only one who can limit me, is myself. One of the things I've noticed from participating in a global student competition, is the difference in how countries believe in their education system to build a future-ready, highly skilled workforce that can drive sustainable development and economic progress for generations to come. Countries compete economically by investing in education, fostering favorable business environments, and leveraging trade policies to access global markets. Strong human capital, sustainable practices, and political stability further enhance their global competitiveness. It is no coincidence that nations embracing these principles are creating pathways for economic recovery and growth. India, for example, is increasingly competitive on the global stage due to its substantial investments in high-quality education and professional skills training. This investment goes beyond winning medals—it's about building a future-ready workforce capable of driving sustainable economic development. The medals are simply a great way of benchmarking the education system against others from around the world. Speaking at the Ministry of Commerce and Innovation's Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC) India National Conference on Saturday I could feel the energy and positivity for transformation in Indian education.   The conference theme of 'Transforming higher education & skilling towards Viksit Bharat 2047' sparked valuable conversations about new possibilities as the National Education Policy comes to fruition.   The 'opening up' of India to allow international campuses marks a new era of connections and collaboration between Indian institutions and institutions globally.   Global challenges cannot be tackled in isolation.
