Physical and chemical properties of these materials are strongly dependent on their size. Characterisation of mean size, size distribution, and shape of nano-scaled particles is very critical for the quality and efficiency of manufacturing processes. We are excited to share information about the HeatFluxTex project involving two SmartX Innovation Hub members, the Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology and Empa 🎯 This initiative focuses on developing flexible, breathable textile heat flow sensors that revolutionize how we measure heat transfer. Unlike current systems, these sensors are: 🔹Non-toxic 🔹Air-permeable or breathable 🔹Designed with a tridimensional textile base to integrate thermoelectric materials seamlessly.
