✅ New European Commission: approved! Today the European Parliament voted on the new college of commissioners who will be proposing EU policies for the next five years. The Commission can now begin its term on 1 December. With the Commission in place, the process to select the new EU executive - that started when you voted for your representatives in the European elections in June - comes to an end. Over the next five years, Parliament will continue to examine the work of the Commission and other EU institutions to hold them to account and make sure that policies improve the lives of EU citizens. While the new European Commission is approved and ready to take action, it’s alarming how they’ve turned a blind eye to the systemic corruption in Bulgaria. The government and judiciary are under mafia control, blatantly violating over 30 provisions of the Bulgarian Constitution and EU law. More than 10,000 citizens have had their cars confiscated without committing any crimes—an outrageous abuse of power that demands immediate attention. Bulgaria’s citizens deserve justice, transparency, and democratic accountability. When will the EU finally act against this flagrant disregard for the rule of law?
Congratulations! We're looking forward to working together. We’ve prepared 5 recommendations (https://bit.ly/3Z74poo) for the new European mandate, and we are hopeful that the new Commissioners will support and act on advancing our efforts towards a safe, inclusive, and equal Europe—free from FGM and gender-based violence! ✊
Time to accelerate plans for further integration and deeper capital markets, making every challenge that bit easier to navigate.
Congrats #EU 🇪🇺. Pioneering the best and longest Human experience in History. Keep up the good work. And forward, a whole lot of work to be done (improve housing market prices, social services fair share to everyone, taxes, decrease corruption even more, decrease contamination, no lobbies in Politics,...). And please don't forget Palestine 🇵🇸 and Sudan 🇸🇸. They are really worth our help and light to their paths now. Thanks and best.

This Commission is surely not perfect. But now it's time to work on what the EU needs: a push on new technologies and on the green transition, stronger integrarion andthe strenghtening of our economy
"I believe we need Treaty change. where it can improve our Union. [...] Time and again, we have had a choice. On the one hand, a course of division and decline. On the other, the narrow path towards a more united Europe. Europe has always chosen strength in unity. So it is with honour and deep emotion that I stand here in Strasbourg 80 years on. In this House of European democracy. At the heart of a free Europe. Asking you for your trust in this team. Asking you to choose a stronger and more united future. Asking you to choose a future of freedom for Europe. That path has never been the easiest one. But together, we know we can do it. So let us get to work."
