European Generation’s Post

On the 2nd of May, in the context of the European Youth Debate 2024, our student’s association hosted a thought-provoking session with Francesco Amadei from Open Gate Italia during the roundtable work on “Digital and AI Policy” at Regione Lombardia. European Generation extends its sincere thanks to Francesco Amadei for his on-point intervention. His insightful remarks on the European Union AI Act and Italy’s Artificial Intelligence Strategy shed light on crucial regulatory concerns and possible solutions within the EU. Representing one of our partners, Open Gate Italia, a consultancy agency in the telecommunications sector, Amadei made use of his expertise by revealing to the students the complexities surrounding the application of generative AI, emphasizing the EU priority of guaranteeing privacy and safety. Once again, a heartfelt thank you to Francesco Amadei for their invaluable contribution to the “Industry Sneak Peek” section of the EYD 2024. We also extend our gratitude to Laura Rovizzi, CEO of Open Gate Italia for making this session possible and supporting our student forum. Finally, this event wouldn’t have been happening without Lorenza Demicheli and Iorgus Serghei Cicala, the Managing Directors of the EYD 2024, and Valentina Benedetta Benzi and Filippo Bulath, the Heads of Operations of the EYD 2024. Join us in shaping the future of Europe at the European Youth Debate next year! Stay tuned for updates and opportunities to engage.
