LOGISTICS: UPS Healthcare invests €55m in upgrading two facilities in #Italy With the investment, #UPS Healthcare intends to make both the #PassoCorese and #Somaglia facilities compliant with good distribution and good manufacturing practices, making the warehouses safe for medical and pharmaceutical products. The Passo Corese site will be upgraded with the latest #automation technology, including more than 80 robots, capable of climbing 12m shelves, that can autonomously pick and sort up to 25,000 crates. Today I presented our full-year results for 2023 with Anna Bertona, our new Group CEO. We concluded the year with €4.2bn revenue and an adjusted EBITA of €466m. Despite a more challenging environment, we maintained our conversion margin on prior year levels and achieved a record cash conversion rate of over 127%. 🙌🏼 These results underscore the resilience of our asset-light business model and the dedication of our local teams to serving our principals and customers. However, performance in numbers isn't only reflected in financials; the real underlying performance comes from the hard work we put into servicing our principals and customers. 💪🏼 In 2023 we maintained our digital leadership with over 140 customer portals and 30+ e-Labs rolled out. We also completed a record number of integration projects - 28 legal entities, partly thanks to our cloud-based ERP system. And we will continue to leverage our industry-leading digital capabilities to further improve the way we operate and serve our markets. 💻 In 2023 we also strengthened our network of application laboratories with the opening of new laboratories for Personal Care in Spain and South Africa, for Agricultural & Environmental Solutions in India, and for Lubricants & Metal Working Fluids in Italy. With this, we have reinforced our technical expertise and further confirmed our commitment to pushing the innovation envelope for our principals and customers. 🔬   At Azelis everything we do is built around our labs, and in 2023 our passion for innovation did not go unnoticed. It was recognized by the industry with three innovation awards: the Gold award at in-cosmetics Asia for one of our haircare formulations; the 2023 Ringier Technology Award for Innovation in Personal Care; and the Cosmébio Ingredient Trophy for extensive technical knowledge. 🏅   All of this was possible thanks to the spirit and commitment behind the scenes. I cannot stress enough the value our great teams and their interactions bring to the success of the company. Our business model remains resilient and strong.
