Engagement with your posts is one thing. But isn't it better if you are perceived in the proper context? In addition, it's time to measure category leadership. Thought leadership is commonly measured using engagement numbers. We challenge these metrics by offering to measure leadership in a semantic category. In contrast to engagement, semantic categories tell you the strategic topic context in which the market perceives you. Ultimately, you want your market to know what kind of expert you are.

Being a leader is a lot more than being an expert in your field. You need to think about your emotional intelligence, authentic communication, how you influence others and how you build a strong, empowered and motivated team. I'm really glad I was invited to the first cohort of the Wolters Kluwer Leadership Acceleration program to explore these areas and help me think about the kind of leader I want to be and how to get there.

The most impactful leaders know that their influence extends beyond company walls. They engage online, share insights, and actively contribute to industry conversations. When CEOs lead both online and offline, they create a stronger brand, build trust with their audience, and inspire their teams. It’s not just about being present—it’s about being visible and vocal where it matters most. Are you leading in both spaces? #Leadership #ThoughtLeadership #ExecutiveSocial

Helo connections..I am glad to share my article about "Thought leadership". "Thought leadership" refers to individuals or organizations that are recognized as experts and innovators in their field. These thought leaders often share valuable insights, ideas, and perspectives through various platforms such as articles, speeches, or social media. They contribute to shaping industry trends, driving conversations, and inspiring change. Thought leadership is not just about expertise but also about effectively communicating ideas and influencing others. It's a strategic approach to establishing credibility, building relationships, and driving growth. #snsinstitutions #snsdesignthinkers #snsdesignthinking

What if every company invested in building the brands of their senior and top management? What if they invested in training them and building their skills and knowledge of personal branding and helping them develop their own strategies to grow their brands? What if they all knew how to select their areas of thought leadership and honed their various forms of expression. We don’t all need to be speakers but we can find different ways to contribute to meaningful conversations within our industries. Personal branding is important, more so for those in leadership. I value shared opinions and shared experiences, I want to hear what leaders think, what they do and how they make decisions. They should all be in the habit of formalising the distribution of their opinions and unique methodologies. Don’t you think? #personalbranding #careergrowth #thoughtleadership

Discussion Point – Consensus vs. Radical Change 🗣️ “If you achieve consensus, you’ve either watered down your change ambitions or haven’t been radical enough.” This striking observation from our recent roundtable challenges the idea that consensus is always desirable in driving purposeful change. Balancing advocacy with decision-making is key. 🔑 Do you agree? Can consensus and bold change coexist? Let’s discuss. 💭 #Leadership #OrganisationalChange #Innovation

I recently had the incredible opportunity to lead a session on power dynamics in the workplace. It was truly inspiring to witness a leadership team's engagement and openness as they delved into this critical topic. Watching them explore and discuss the intricacies of power dynamics was a reminder of how vital these conversations are for fostering authentic and effective leadership. As we navigated the complexities of power—both the visible and invisible forces at play—I was amazed by the depth of insight and reflection that emerged within the group. Leaders must understand their power, not only within their organization but also in their partnerships and community interactions. This awareness allows them to approach conversations with a greater sense of responsibility and intention, creating a more inclusive environment for all. The discussions we had about navigating these dynamics will undoubtedly aid the team as they strategize their approach to leadership. By being more conscious of how power influences interactions, decisions, and relationships, they can foster a culture of collaboration and trust, ultimately driving positive change within their organization. I’m grateful to have facilitated this session and witnessed such authentic conversations unfold. Together, we are building a foundation for leaders to recognize their power and wield it with intention and empathy. #Leadership #PowerDynamics #AuthenticConversations #InclusiveCulture #LeadershipDevelopment #TransformationalLeadership
