Climate change is the #1 threat to our oceans as it is heating them up and acidifying them which will result in the loss of up to 90% of our ocean life: whales, dolphins, octopuses, coral reefs, fishes, and food for 2 billion people by 2045 (when ocean pH is expected to reach 7.95 a major tipping point): https://lnkd.in/gKR5ijuN And as we have all seen, the unnaturally warm ocean waters are spawning devastating hurricanes and rain and flooding events that are so catastrophic to so many people across the planet. And there is no greater action we can take than helping elect leaders that will take meaningful action on climate change today. Tomorrow is too late.

USA historical contributions is 25% of all total emissions. Annually, it is about 13,5%. The EU is half of that. What’s the point in spending trillions of euros for green deals and should it be done more on a national level? How come the UK Government isn’t subsiding solar panels on housing in the UK?
