Employee advocates make the best brand ambassadors. People trust people more than corporate messages. As Emily mentioned in The Times recently, we're more inclined to trust each other's stories about products or services. Having employee influencers is a game-changer, however, implementing a formal strategy is crucial for success. This ensures that your employees becoming influencers is managed properly. With active employees on social media, establishing clear policies and procedures is vital to maintaining your brand's reputation. This is where an employee advocacy program comes into play. An effective employee advocacy program allows your employees to become influencers and thought leaders within your industry. Here's how: - A dedicated program manager curates dynamic, brand-approved content for employees to share. - Ensures alignment with your organization's social media policy. - Empower employees to become brand ambassadors beyond their regular roles. Adopt an employee advocacy program and watch your brand thrive! 🌟 #EmployeeAdvocacy #EmployeeInfluencer #Influencer

Employees 🤝 the best brand ambassadors People trust people over corporate messaging. As this piece in The Times highlights, we are simply more likely to trust anecdotes from each other about a product or service than a brand. Having employee influencers can support: - Growing your brand presence - Engaging your audience on social - Recruiting a wider talent pool However, it's not as simple as just telling employees "hey, please start sharing content" It’s crucial that policies and guidelines are put in place to ensure that your brand's reputation is being upheld. This is where an employee advocacy program comes in. With an employee advocacy program, you'll have a program manager who curates content (with multiple captions and images) for employees to share. This ensures that the content is brand-approved and follows your organization's social media policy. The added bonus is that it also makes it easier for your employees to become brand ambassadors outside their usual roles and duties! #EmployeeAdvocacy #EmployeeInfluencer #Influencer

Employee advocacy is emerging as a key strategy for modern marketing, and I love to see it. Companies are increasingly recognizing the value of leveraging their employees’ personal brands to enhance engagement and authenticity. Take a look at Kuda’s TikTok page or Chicken Republic’s Twitter timeline, or any of Ryanair’s social media pages, and you’ll see how employees are given the freedom to share their personal experiences and perspectives in a way that resonates with customers. These brands are not just promoting products; they’re creating real, relatable content that humanizes their corporate image and builds a stronger connection with their audience. The success of employee advocacy lies in trust and authenticity, and when done right, it can be a game-changer for brand engagement. When employees become corporate influencers, they give the brand a human touch that feels more genuine and approachable. As we move into 2025, I believe that integrating employee advocacy into advertising strategies is a powerful tool to leverage. #MyTwoCents #E3 #EmployeeAdvocacy #CorporateInfluencers

Employee advocacy is a vital part of Employer Branding and Digital Marketing today But what exactly does it entail? Simply put, it's about empowering your engaged team members to become employee influencers by promoting thought leadership in a safe space It's not about pressuring everyone in your company to share company content Instead, it's about allowing your team members to be authentic and speak their truth #EmployeeAdvocacy #EmployerBranding #DigitalMarketing

Employees can be the best brand ambassadors! But you might be wondering why. There are many reasons why employee influencers make the best brand ambassadors, these include: - People trust other people over corporate messaging. - Having employees share content allows it to become more authentic. - Increased engagement with your audience. - Help grow your organization’s brand. However, there are perceived risks to having employee influencers, but these can be mitigated with an employee advocacy program. An employee advocacy program will allow your employees to share content that is already brand-approved and aligns with your organization's social media policy. It also allows employees to easily share content without it becoming time-consuming while having relevant content that harmonizes with their audience. Employee advocacy can allow your employees to become thought leaders while upholding the brand's reputation. #EmployeeAdvocacy #EmployeeInfluencer #Influencer

Employee Advocacy Platforms don’t work (here’s what does): In preparation for our Payments Influencer Report (follow link in the comments to join the launch event), we analysed the best LinkedIn posts from 2024 from EMEA's top Payments influencers on LinkedIn. Here’s a shocking finding: Not one of the top best performing posts came from an employee advocacy platform. Even more revealing? The worst-performing posts (those with fewer than 1 like) were overwhelmingly templated shares from these platforms. What does this tell us? The “spray and share” approach—where organisations hand employees pre-written posts—simply doesn’t work. Why? Because authenticity wins on LinkedIn. The top-performing brands and influencers don’t rely on pre-packaged content. Instead, they share real, personal, and resonant posts that truly connect with their audience. If you’re serious about building influence on LinkedIn, ditch the templates and focus on empowering your team to share their own genuine voice. It’s time to re-think advocacy.
