Dear brands, if you only rely on organic reach of your company page(s) to push key messages, you're missing out big time! More than ever, you need to up your employee advocacy and thought leaders game on LinkedIn. People inspire more trust than brands, so why not use their voice to amplify your key messages and wins? Don't turn their post into corporate bamboozle though! Let them use their tone of voice, let them be themselves! It can only benefit both parties: - the brand having a trust-worthy advocate 🎖 - the advocate gaining popularity and trust online 📈 Putting budget into ads can help getting more visibility on LinkedIn. Optimizing everything that is up for grabs can be a more efficient first step, though! 👊 One of my objectives for 2025 will be to broaden Egis' pool of advocates and leaders on the platform. Though I must say I'm happy with our already-proven contributors on LinkedIn! 👏 I can only suggest them to keep up the good work and inspire others to follow their path. 🌟

When it comes to social media and your business, your employees are your most influential and powerful advocates for your social media strategy. Don’t forget to include an employee advocacy strategy when it comes to social media. Help your employees to feel empowered to share company posts, and to create a thought leadership brand for themselves. I’m not sure companies are completely on board with my train of thought here, for the fear of employees posting content that on some way might harm the business. My twist on this though is to empower and enhance their ability to share valuable content that the brand is disseminating, and educate them on how to use social media to build their personal brand ( which in turn builds the companies brand). It’s a win-win!
