Those two ageing carers in their 80's can look forward to more intense 'midnight anxiety' if this Bill passes - as it will erode certainty of support. The NDIS can no longer guarantee lifelong support, it guarantees support only until the next Support Needs Assessment which will take place periodically (2-5 years for example). If the support the person needs is deemed to no longer be an 'NDIS Support', it can be defunded. If the Rules decide ANY support should be funded by States & Territories (or other system) instead, it will no longer be funded by the NDIS. The NDIS for psychosocial disability may become 'step-up, step-down' meaning the person can drop in and out of the NDIS. The' Certainty of Support' principle is likely to be a major casualty of this Bill
Will Bill Shorten get the NDIS back on track?

Yes! The reality is that making content accessible helps everyone. There are times I want to watch a video but I don't want (or can't have) the sound on. I get so frustrated when there aren't any captions (of course without them and with the audio on I may very well have an issue catching all of the sound).
