The Turtle is a no-sew, zero-waste garment that can be manufactured directly from yarn to finished product within minutes. We use jacquard circular lace braiding machines to create the fabric that is the apparel. Here are 5 simple tips to help you achieve that vintage, lived-in look: 1. **Fade the Dye**: - Mix 50-50 water and bleach. - Paint the bleach mixture on the jeans with a brush for a streaky effect, focusing on the knees where jeans tend to fade the most. - Let it set overnight and then wash and dry the jeans. 2. **Fray the Edges**: - Use a regular disposable shaving razor or coarse sandpaper to rub back and forth over the spots you want to distress.
