You raise a very important trend in the industry and I totally agree with you. As consumers become more concerned about health and environmental protection, the cosmetics industry is moving away from potentially toxic ingredients such as TiO2 (titanium dioxide). Iron oxide nanoparticles are more biocompatible and safer than TiO2. They do not produce a photocatalytic effect on the skin like TiO2, thus reducing skin irritation. Overall, this shift in the industry proposed by you reflects the continuous progress of the cosmetics industry in terms of safety and environmental protection, and iron oxide is undoubtedly a very promising alternative material.
