Rapid Prototyping for Medical Devices It’s not just about getting the tech right, it’s about housing it safely. With strict health and safety requirements that must be met on each product, material testing is a critical component of creating devices for medical use, and rapid prototyping is the cost-efficient way to ensure this is done. Midas has been producing high-quality polyurethane covers for medical and MEDTEC devices for years, and our FASTrim™ tooling process is a key part of this. By using production-quality methods and materials, we can offer a flexible prototyping system to develop your product and offer low-volume production - perfect for small-scale trials. #medtech #medicaldevice #industrialdesigner #productdevelopment

why do we call it the standalone table top model? it's because of the compact size it's basically for contour welding as well as quasi-simultaneous so the benefits on this welder of any type of laser welder there's particular free it's clean no mess, safe the working range on the size right here it can be 980 nanometers to 2 microns the this machine right here is generated at 70 Watts it can be generated all the way up to 200 Watts of power safety being number one we are in compliance of class 1 laser standard so no need for goggles whatsoever so and and and that's a benefit most of our customers are automotive medical as well as consumers again the benefits on this is to where for the medical and your particular free as well as we can hermetically seal parts and I'll demonstrate a part here shortly on that so what excites us and separates us out from any other of our competitors is that we have our in house developed software called the Evolap there's no required programming knowledge this is basically uploaded to any standard size laptop and you're able to take any DXF file and incorporate that into the database here and basically really handy for complex contours like microfluidics and I'll show you again that part to where our How It will hermetically sealed something like that to it's going to benefit to the medical fields as well as the automotive industries so overall training on something this the operate it took me about an hour yeah you can teach an old dog new tricks so it was pretty simple to do that for the size dimension on this to where again it's a small system to where you got 30 cm and width here 60 in depth as well as 45 in the height the working parameters within the the drop plate here is 100 millimeters to 100 millimeters again smaller parts phototypes no like excessive productivity of 200 jobs an hour you're not gonna get out of something like that but it's basically used for a lower production so what I do wanna show you is how our Evolap software works how simple it is it's just basically uploaded to the laptop and click up the start button and I'll show you this part right here again small part I filled it up with water just to demonstrate how hermetically sealed these parts can get after a successful weld so I'm just gonna load this in simple as that shut the door no lasers are gonna be exposed drop the plate seriously it's just as simple as clicking the start button 3 2 1 you got a weld so open up the door raise up the plate where the part it's just a little bit warm to where I do have a successful weld there's no leaking coming out of this so if any of this has of any interest to you your company please reach out to us on our website as well give me a call shoot me an email and I'll be more than happy to answer any questions you may have thank you and have a great day
