At Benchmark Designs Ltd we're committed to making a positive impact on our planet every day, not just today. 🌿💚 As an interior design and build business, we understand the importance of preserving our environment for future generations. That's why we've taken steps to promote sustainability and reduce our carbon footprint. Earlier this year, we challenged ourselves to become even more eco-friendly, and we're proud to say that we've made great progress! We’ve delved into the origins and afterlife of materials, ensuring products not only come from sustainable sourced but also contribute to a circular economy. Recently, we’ve come across innovative solutions such as yarns sourced from fishing net waste to combat marine plastic pollution, FSC wallpapers which use non-toxic adhesives, and bio-based air-purifying paint that enhances indoor air quality. 🎨 We’ve also explored eco-friendly alternatives to signage materials like Acrylic and Dibond. These exciting new products are generated as by-products from another industry’s waste with significantly less carbon footprint. 👣 We’re grateful for our supplier’s dedication to eco-friendly practices, for providing us with a better understanding, and for inspiring us to make informed choices about sustainable products. 🙌🏻 Additionally, just last month our team visited the BioHub at Ings Farm to learn about regenerative farming.
