This is a huge milestone for me, my FIRST online course!!! And a great christmas gift to someone who struggles... When I first started presenting, I was a walking disaster. I fumbled my words, my slides looked like I have had a toddler play with PowerPoint, and I was so nervous that I probably burned calories just shaking on the inside. Honestly, I was one awkward metaphor away from being a viral meme. If only someone had handed me a cheat sheet back then! Here is the thing, most people struggle with stage fright, boring slides, and keeping their audience awake (let alone engaged). But guess what? It doesn’t have to be a Death by PowerPoint situation. Therefore, we have created something, for you! The Presenter Survival Kit, the ultimate toolkit I wish I had when I was on stage back in the day. It’s a step-by-step system to take you from “Why am I doing this?” to “NAILED it!” Packed with 6 actionable modules and 2 exclusive bonuses, you’ll learn how to: - Overcome stage fright (without imagining anyone in their underwear). - Create slides that help, not hurt. - Deliver presentations that make people remember you, and for the right reasons. Don’t repeat my rookie mistakes. Grab the Presenter Survival Kit now for just €97... That is less than what you’d spend on a fancy dinner to forget a bad presentation! You are all brilliant and have unique POVs but you like to fool yourself into thinking you don’t. And that is not okay! 2 weeks ago on a Sunday night, I was at a friend’s birthday party. With miles between us, it had to be a virtual powerpoint party. And I was completely blown away. Friends turned up with sizzling hot takes on topics ranging from meteors, hollow earth, and Instagram algorithms to ecclesiastical Latin. Topics I didn’t know they cared for. We disagreed passionately, took sides, debated, and were bent over with laughter for most of it. And if you want your audience to look at you and feel things in their hearts, brains, and bellies you need to take your stands and have clear POVs too. You cannot afford to piggyback on popular brands or creators’ voices and sustain on their crumbs. If you for a second think, your viewpoints aren't worth sharing – not true. Perhaps they need further refining. Maybe you need to develop and validate more. And learn how to articulate them better. But that is how everyone starts anyway. If you want to be memorable and stand out from the crowd and competitor brands, find out what POVs define you starting now! p.s. what is a hot take you would share at a powerpoint party?

And the award for worst evaluation deck goes to... 🏆 When client side I probably went to 100+ meetings where agencies presented the campaign evaluation deck. Some of them brilliant, some of them.... less so. Here are the elements I loved and loathed: ❤️ great insights - the why behind what went well, what didn't and what we should do differently next time ❤️ simplicity - a well laid out, easy to follow presentation (that I could share up the food chain) ❤️ brilliant use of data - clear, honest and in context ❌ several slides regurgitating the brief, not necessary - just a few bullet points will do (we all know why we are here) ❌ sloppy mistakes - spellings, format, the wrong logo etc.. ❌ death by powerpoint - it's not a bedtime story, it's a precis of a campaign so stick to the facts and make every word count! Click Communicate are currently helping a client understand what brilliant evaluation decks deliver for the client. Have you got any pearls of wisdom or horror stories to share? Client or agency perspective - I'd love to hear them...
