Is anyone here a Google Ads whiz (or does anyone know someone who is)? I'd love for Zero Proof Nation's Global Map to show up when someone is searching for "non alcoholic bottle shop" or "booze free bar" on Google, but alas, I can't figure it out. Help? I have a small scale ad campaign running (experimenting with $3-5 dollars a day) but unsure of its effectiveness. Can you store your wine investments at home? 🏡 If you are investing in wine, any future buyer needs to know that the wines have been stored in perfect condition and that that they are not counterfeit. This means, you need to store in bond. In bond warehouses are designated for goods subject to import duty and VAT. Payment of duty and VAT on these items is postponed until they are taken out of the bonded warehouse. It is estimated that removing your wine from bond will reduce the value by 25%, but some buyers will not even consider your wine if not stored in bond! Storing in bond ensures provenance, and means that your wine is stored in the conditions that optimise aging. When a marketer tells you, "This Is Better." He is WRONG. The Beer Advocate website, for example, lists over 250 beers, each with above 4.5-star ratings. Every one of these beers is someone's favorite. That means there are thousands of beers in the United States, each one is a favorite for different people. How can that be? It's simple: taste matters. Everyone’s taste is unique. When a marketer comes and says, "This Is Better," what he really mean is, "This is better for me, and it might be better for you." But your preference might be different, and that's perfectly okay. Communicate your business, goals, and choices openly. Embrace the diversity of opinions and tastes. I heard an amazing statistic this week that Americans eat, on average, three hamburgers per week (and how reducing our beef consumption could have a meaningful impact on water-reduction efforts nationwide as so much water is used to grow alfalfa to feed cattle). That is a lot of hamburgers! That staggering statistic got me thinking about the sometimes-prominent role fast food and other chain restaurants play in our culture, our diet, and many American communities. The following provides some perspective. It’s an overview of the 50 largest chain restaurants in the U.S. Take a look. You’ll see sales by segment (burgers are big!), by restaurant (McDonald’s is dominant), by sales (McDonalds again), locations (Subway), and average sales by location (Cheesecake Factory). My favorite Seattle burger joint didn’t make the list (only two locations), but there is no better veggie burger out there!
