The last four weeks have been a whirlwind across WebX (Tokyo), KBW (Seoul) and TOKEN2049 / Solana Breakpoint / RWA Summit (Singapore). It's been awesome to connect with so many founders, builders, investors and future partners across the space. Few musings: 1/ Regulatory environments across APAC are far out in front in creating a constructive environment to build. Especially with some of the revelations out last week (see Nic Carter X), we can only hope the US doesn't intentionally opt out of a generational game-changing technology 2/ Tokenize everything. From financial assets to wine to US Medicaid receivables to sneakers, builders are testing PMF across assets. The proof in the pudding will be demand side 3/ Different strokes for different folks but my personal take is Breakpoint was the most community driven event driving excitement with multiple product launches 4/ Japan and Korea are separately interesting cases of digital asset adoption, but the charge will be led by top down TradFi distribution 5/ Props to Vitalik for having the gusto to sing on the main stage. But Iggy Azalea is the real MVP Back heads down to focus on building. Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose 🚀

Party time, let-the-good-times-roll blockchains like Solana… Combined with web3’s overall lack of ethics run by horny teenagers… In dogged pursuit of things like IP, decentralized Hollywood, FOMO, scarcity, yachts, bored apes, merch, liquidity, rewards, private VIP events, and cocaine stripper parties… Is setting itself up to be the next Pdiddy and Epstein industry. But probably worse because it’s money-tech that actively fights regulatory safety and consumer protections. Token2049 and Breakpoint weren’t just tech conferences. They were cultural events pointing to the future. And that future doesn’t look so good right now. This is what decentralization has become.

I had the opportunity to speak in Chat Bitgetters forum on discord. We had discussed about FARTCOIN, it's recent surge, how it originated, and the reason behind it's success. FARTCOIN is a memecoin that was inspired by fart themed jokes. It originated from the Terminals of Truth AI agent model. The AI model made a joke about Elon Musk's fondness of the "fart" sound, so the AI suggested creating a token named FARTCOIN. Launched on October 24th, FARTCOIN became one of the very few memecoins that crossed the 1 billion dollar market cap. The Sigil Fund, a regular crypto investor company, bought $191,000 worth of FARTCOIN which contributed to the rise. It's listing on exchanges including Bitget signifies it's long term value. I personally didn't trade FARTCOIN at first, but after reaching an ATH of $1.3 billion market cap, it's value was slashed by half, I utilised this opportunity to quickly buy some tokens, two days later, on Christmas day, it reclaimed it's ATH, I'm in profit now but I'm still holding to see what happens. If you’ve been watching blockchain lately, you know it’s #TON Network, quietly redefining how mainstream adoption actually happens. No promises of “when,” no endless beta phases—just #Telegram integration bringing #Web3 into the hands of #millions. “Oh, it’ll probably top #Ethereum’s total user base soon,” they said.
