This is a sight that operating room staff know all too well. This huge stack of handwritten paper is used to help guide a scrub tech to prep an OR for surgery with all of the supplies and equipment needed. Imagine how easy it would be to miss a step or a detail, how long it would take to go through each step, or the huge challenges faced if the surgeon wants to update their setup. These are just some of the issues and stress factors faced every day in today's operating rooms globally. At eXeX, we are creating the digital twin of every surgeon's every surgery and then creating a digital and temporal map of the flow of the case and its preparation and aftercare. We also highlight target opportunities for improvement of workflow, efficiency and product use and waste, allowing for mindful focused, sustainable product use at the highest level. Never before has the surgical team had a visual dynamic reference guide navigating the surgical team and process through the natural ebb and flow of every surgeons every surgery, allowing for precision optimization and establishment of the first and best surgical map available in the world, one episode of care at a time.
