At present, several seismic exploration techniques are based on #microtremor (ambient noise). In 1958 the famous #seismologist Beno Gutenberg studied and listed the origin of microtremor at low frequency (approx. below 1 Hz), which is mostly #meteorological and related to oceanic #waves. Try using your Tromino #seismometer as a #barometer: take a recording at the same site on a day of good #weather and on a day of bad weather. You will easily see the difference in the amplitude of the spectra below 1 Hz.
