Curtain wall, Steel insert: Using a steel insert in aluminum curtain wall mullions enhances their structural strength, allowing for a reduction in mullion depth while maintaining or even increasing the mullions' load-bearing capacity. Steel's higher strength-to-weight ratio compared to aluminum means that thinner, stronger mullions can be used. This results in more usable interior space and a sleeker design without compromising the structural integrity of the curtain wall system. Note: No chance of rusting since the inserted steel will be hot-dip galvanized for protection.

3D Floor Plan A 3D floor plan is a virtual model that provides a bird’s-eye view of a building’s layout. These plans are commonly used in architecture and construction to visually communicate the design of a structure, making it easier to understand spatial relationships. A 3D floor plan typically includes walls, doors, windows, and other key elements, but excludes the ceiling to give a clear view of the interior. There are two types of 3D floor plans: Unfurnished – Displays only the building's structural outline, without furniture. Furnished – Includes furniture and decor, offering a complete representation of the interior space.

Wood Building Materials Wood has long been utilised as a full building material for the frame, external siding, and trimming. Wooden materials have a long lifespan if properly cared for. Early woodwork should be preserved and restored if required. Splicing in new portions is simple. Wood is often provided to create buildings with a historical character by incorporating it into the interior design. Er, Bharat Bhushan

Steel is a highly favored material for truss construction due to its numerous advantages. Here are some of the key benefits: High Strength-to-Weight Ratio: Steel provides exceptional strength while being lightweight, which results in efficient and cost-effective structures. Durability: Steel trusses are known for their incredible strength and longevity, able to withstand significant stress without breaking or deforming. Versatility: Steel can be fabricated into various shapes and sizes to meet specific architectural and design requirements, offering flexibility in construction. Speed of Construction: Steel trusses are often prefabricated, which allows for faster installation and construction compared to traditional building methods. Aesthetic Flexibility: Steel trusses can be designed to create vaulted or cathedral ceilings, providing an open and aesthetically pleasing interior space. These properties make steel an excellent choice for constructing trusses that are strong, durable, and adaptable to various design needs.

This sketch illustrates four different types of balconies, each with its own distinct architectural design: 1. Fully Recessed Balcony : This balcony is completely enclosed within the building's structure, creating a space that is open to the outside but still within the building's footprint. It is like a large window niche where people can step out. 2. Juliet Balcony: A very shallow balcony with a railing attached to the building's facade. There isn't much space to walk out onto; it's more of a decorative feature that allows for full-height doors from the interior. 3. Cantilever Balcony : This balcony protrudes from the building without visible supports from beneath. It is typically supported by cantilevered beams or brackets that transfer the load back into the structure. 4. Semi-Recessed Balcony : This type combines elements of the fully recessed and cantilevered designs. It is set into the building's facade but also sticks out slightly, usually supported from beneath or by the building's structure.

Ease of glass replacement - every system has a somewhat unique design, but the core principles remain the same - have you considered access & maintenance? In the detail below, the inner glass assembly can be replaced from the interior - the glazing bead (green) can be replaced from the interior. The outer unit must be accessed from the exterior - the entire assembly can be easily removed via a clip system. With that, it’s important to consider building and maintenance unit access. Every project and building has different constraints - worth addressing early on.
