Research gate just made aware of ‘events & sustainability’ research I had nearly forgotten (one of series 2007-23). Of interest to those considering leadership of sustainable festivals, or events and regeneration of place (or beyond): Summary: Study examines the perception of festival sustainability by festival leaders. It identifies critical factors associated with sustainable festivals and explores leaders' attitudes towards creating and directing sustainable festivals. Main findings reveal that festival leaders prioritize event focus, leadership, funding, and organizational culture for sustainability. Additionally, sustainability is perceived as crucial for festival survival.
