(Due to low center of gravity and 60/40 split towards front and rear helped in achieving a stable vechile without loosing either rear or front of the vechile while travelling through steep terrain) 00:21 - 00:31 Understanding the vehicle steering and suspension dynamics by putting the vehicle through rigorous offroading track at high speeds. (Constant fine tuning has been gone through in adjusting Camber, Castor, toe, tyre pressure, balancing Shock absorber to get appropriate ride height, rebound and roll control to achieve this level of vehicle handling) 00:32 - 00:43 Testing the turning radius in dirt with less traction on wheels. 00:44 - 00:48 Vehicle in the race track while we were in 6th position. 00:49 - 00:56 Vehicle electrical breakdown and quick pit stop repairs. 00:57 - 01:07 Vehicle back on track after repairs. This wasn't an easy journey as seen in this video, it was a tough one where we had challenges in each step. Though we could have a podium finish our team was happy with what we achieved. Building this Car from scratch without having prior experience in working with such a diverse team. Funding 75% of the entire project ourselves, Researching and understanding the technology, understanding the manufacturing processes, doing all of this with a crazy deadline. Was not an easy task. Adding to this, taking the car across the country 2500km far race track to compete was not a smooth ride. Forming this team and being on this project for almost 2 years have transformed my theoretical knowledge into tangible skills. Looking back at my position as Team Lead, I think what I value most was the challenge of maintaining a group of motivated people, working alongside driven individuals, I've grown autonomously while embracing teamwork, a combination crucial for future challenges. No matter how difficult the challenge or research, if you manage to maintain that block, technical part, budget and results will come. If you're eager to improve your learning and prepare for real-world endeavors, I recommend joining such a kind of student project team while pursuing your Bachelors.
