A little sneak peek from our most recent webinar last week 🎥 The discussions around the table centered on Germany proving itself as a driving force behind the Danish green hydrogen infrastructure sparking the questions: · How committed is Germany to delivering on its hydrogen ambitions? · How might an upcoming German election shift priorities? · What challenges do key producers and off-takers identify? Key topics included: ✅ Germany’s hydrogen infrastructure plans compared to Danish initiatives. ✅ Industrial demand for green hydrogen and its potential to drive Danish exports. ✅ Barriers and opportunities for PtX projects in Denmark and Germany. For Denmark, this opens opportunities not just to support Germany’s green ambitions but also to position itself as a key supplier of hydrogen and innovative solutions. Featured Speakers: Prof. Dr. Pascal Hector, Germany’s Ambassador to Denmark Catherine Smitt Meyer, Innovation Manager, Uniper Lotte Lindeloff, Director, PtX Project Development, European Energy Marc Normann, Senior Market Director, COWI A/S Moderated by Jakob Dybdal Christensen, Market Director, COWI A/S Join the conversation on how Denmark and Germany can collaborate for a green hydrogen future and watch the webinar here 👇 https://lnkd.in/eSSPvvVR

Today I am at the Offshore Energy Exhibition and Conference in Amsterdam RAI. Amazing how far Europe has come in the offshore sector: from Greek Trirremes to Viking ships and Spanish Galleons, to incredible structures for hoisting 35000 tons of metal in the middle of the sea. Lots of interesting stuff happening, also with regard to Offshore Hydrogen! #hydrogen #hydrogeneconomy #greenhydrogen

Check how indian solar market is going to change rapidly and we as market players can boost indian solar manufacturing as whole. If india has to become superpower then power independence has to be achieved with complete independence of manufacturing of supply chain components. We as solarkits would be glad to boost domestic installations of solar projects with our BTOB marketplace and would help industry to further achieve the goal before time it has to be happen.

Take a listen to this advice from the former president - it has nothing to do with politics, it’s about how the Imposter Syndrome is itself an imposter. If/when you get promoted, you step into new rooms - and while you might think those rooms are always filled with heavyweights and you’re a out-of-your-depth lightweight who doesn’t have anything to add, that’s not the case. You’ll find yourself surrounded by some really impressive heavyweights you admire and can learn from and, yes, also some “fools” that make you wonder how they even made it to the role they’re in (as the former president says it). Point being: don’t let the Imposter Syndrome hold you back - when you get your chance, you are good enough to be in that room. Work hard, be curious, and become one of the heavyweights.

Nearly one billion people in the Global South access health facilities that run either on unreliable electricity or no electricity at all. As we celebrate World Health Day 2024, we call attention to the right of everyone to access modern health services that require electricity to function properly and without interruption. On April 3, join World Resources Institute for a webinar showcasing how efforts in India and sub-Saharan Africa are harnessing renewable energy, in particular solar power, to ensure health facilities have access to clean and reliable electricity. Flexibility in the power system is a scarcity. So, how can we enable more? This is the main mission at Versiro. And we’re successful at helping power producers to increase the value of their flexibility ⚡ But producers are just one side of the market. What about all the consumers? When I started at university over a decade ago, price inelastic demand was a common assumption. Basically, that consumers don’t react to changes in electricity prices. Over the last years, especially with more transparent price information, we see that people are willing to adjusting their consumption 🏠 Demand response can provide lots of flexibility to the power system. Because it costs way less than other forms of flexibility, like large-scale batteries, it’ll be a key component in counteracting uncertain renewables 🌱 At 17-Dagen organized by Energi Salg Norge AS last week, lots of attendees represented the consumer side. I pitched how Versiro improves the value of flexibility for power producers. But this is not the only use case. Naturally, I ended with an encouragement: The same opportunities are available for the demand side also, so why not try?
