Description session: "The increased role of urban nodes in multi modal traffic and mobility management signifies a paradigm shift in urban mobility. Supported by TEN-T and ITS legislation, urban nodes are transforming into dynamic hubs of digital transportation solutions that enhance efficiency, sustainability, and user experience. In this session, we dive deeper into common issues on implementing ITS in urban nodes, addressing needs and challenges of public administration in urban nodes and the role of public – private cooperation. Furthermore, good practices are presented on how to engage and help public administrations play their important role to reach the objective of efficient, safe, sustainable, smart and resilient mobility.
