Tod and Anders on how to minimizing batch change over time and improve production time on equipment in pharmaceutical production, how to implement and automate assisted line clearance. A topic we have experienced has a great interest - latest on ACHEMA in July.
Mix small batches with the need to take drugs to the market faster and more efficiently than ever and you get a cocktail that can disrupt a whole industry 🌪 And it means that pharma companies will have to rethink key processes to keep up. In other words: Pharmaceutical manufacturing is about to change 🚀 Watch the video to see Anders Meister and Pharma Industry Expert Tod Urquhart discuss some of the new technologies that will support this shift. **** If you want to know more, head over to our website to read more about technologies like automated line clearance and inline label printing. #pharma #pharmaceuticalmanufacturing #smartfactory #pharma40 #lineclearance #inlineprinting #reimaginepharma

Beyond the many advantages of formulating NCs, their incorporation into solid dosage forms remains a challenge that limits their use. In this work, the researchers set out to load Atorvastatin NCs (ATV-NCs) in a delivery device by combining 3D scaffolds with an “in situ” loading method such as freeze-drying. When comparing two infill patterns for the scaffolds at two different percentages, the one with the highest NCs load was chosen (Gyroid 20 % infill pattern, 13.8 ± 0.5 mg). Colloidal stability studies of NCs suggest instability in acidic media, and therefore, the system is postulated for use as a sublingual device, potentially bypassing stomach and hepatic first-pass effects. Read more in the article.
