Reflecting on a Bagel Slicing Product That Could Have Been Last weekend, I stumbled upon an old project that brought back memories. I had just accepted a buyout offer and was eager to try my hand at launching my own product. The plan was to perfect a manual bagel slicer and eventually develop motorized versions that could assist amputees. For this version, the bagel would be placed in the device, the covers would close, and the slicing cycle would begin. Unfortunately, the project never advanced that far. Here's a demonstration of the slicer in action, and another of my supplier testing the blades on both soft and hard bagels.
