Discussing today, at the #MICROBALKANS conference, live from Sarajevo, the tremendous Opportunity to target, serve and include Women Micro-Entrepreneurs in the Financial Sector in the Balkans Region. A great Win-Win opportunity for MFIs and Women entrepreneurs alike, through developing a Holistic Women-centered strategy, building a Sex-Disaggregated Data process across the sector, develop Public and Private partnerships to achieve the goals and Commit to the Women Entrepreneurs Finance Code. The Code being a public private partnership working mainly at the national level (but also globally) that involves FSPs, regulators, development finance banks, trade associations and other financial ecosystem players to work together to support and bridge the financing gap for Women Micro Small and Medium Enterprises. The Financial Alliance for Women is delighted to support their FSP members to build their strategies to better serve Women's Markets and also support Code countries in Implementing the WE Finance Code.
