Signed in October 2024! Extension to Proteum's OXE Marine UK & Ireland Agreement and the leading marine business moves into Norway and Iceland markets. Proteum has strategically signed a five-year exclusive distributor agreement with OXE Marine for the UK and Ireland and a four-year distributor agreement for Norway and Iceland, marking a significant step in our partnership. This remarkable growth in OXE Marine outboard sales and support by Proteum has led to an additional five-year exclusive distributor agreement, empowering them to sell and support OXE Marine engines throughout Norway and Iceland. The agreement was signed by Paul Frick, CEO of OXE Marine, and Neil Taylor, General Manager of Proteum, during a visit to the OXE factory in Ängelholm, Sweden. Proteum is poised to replicate its strong sales figures in Norway and Iceland, with a clear strategy to build a network of dedicated sales and support agents and engage directly with commercial operators, OEMs, naval architects, and governmental departments. This presents a promising opportunity for growth in these new territories. Neil Taylor stated, “Proteum’s relationship with OXE Marine is thriving. We are proud to announce that HIFraser has been awarded a contract under the Defence Industry Vendor Qualification (DIVQ) Program. The initiative is designed to enable Australian businesses to supply their products and services into the AUKUS trilateral submarine industrial base. HIFraser has signed an initial contract with the Australian government to produce 15 valves (five lots of three valve types). We will also be producing pipe fittings for qualification. TS Lines orders four boxships in Shanghai Taiwan’s TS Lines has signed for a much telegraphed order for four boxships. Splash reported last month on a letter of intent – now firmed up – with Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding (SWS) for two methanol dual-fuelled 14,000 teu ships and two 7,092 teu vessels. The ships comes with scrubbers with brokers suggesting the prices are $145m per unit for the larger ships and $89m for the smaller ones. TS Lines has ordered at SWS in the past.
