Anyone apply to Bark.com jobs? I would be interested in hearing from users within this post, or DM.I think it's a scam. - So many of the jobs are posted are with very unique names: Play, Fern, Cartello, Edson, etc. you'd think there'd be more Jessicas, Michaels, Kellys, etc. It's based in London. - I don't hear back from clients even within minutes of responding their posting. Not even a "no thank you I'm set." What are they expecting? Days of silence before anyone gets back to them? Most jobs are applied to within minutes. I typically text and email, then follow up with a call a day or two later. Sometimes I start with a call. Hear nothing back 95% of the time. More calls than expected do not have voicemail.I'm considering filing a chargeback to my credit card.Curious to hear the experiences of others.

I quit most of my jobs because it pissed me off that companies were taking actions that led to losing money (I've helped several companies save hundreds of thousands of zlotys since then) Here's what I've learned on the subject 👍 1. Hiring the right people is a skill 2. You can learn it or outsource it 3. Cost of this lack is at least three times the monthly salary If you hire someone who can generate additional costs, like a marketer, you can add a few thousand to that per month. P.S. Share this post to inspire people to learn how to hire.

A little FYI, if you get hired on with a commission structure and a base add a skunk clause in there as well. If they change your commission pay within the first 3 years, make them pay you a set amount. What I have seen is that a bait and switch tactic of hiring sales people, getting them in and then changing the commission structure. No company ever changes the commission structure so sales people make more.

#opentowork Sales is a lot like dating ⛪️❤️ Before you put yourself out there and hope to attract someone new, you’ve got to work on yourself first. Confidence comes from within, right? The same applies to sales. Before you go full throttle on being proactive, have you stopped to check if your “receive” team is ready to handle new enquiries flawlessly? Here’s a thought: How much time do you spend analyzing lost bookings or customers who chose someone else? Do you even know what to look for? This treasure trove of data can reveal where the drop-offs happen, what your customers actually want, and—dare I say—where you might be going wrong. Are you ready to look inward before going outward? Let’s have a chat about how to align your sales strategy to close the gaps and win the bookings you’ve been missing.

I used to spend 70+ hours IN the business every week. Now I only work 13 hours. The rest is dedicated to working ON the business. And managing the team. How did I get here? → By understanding it is not a real business... If it requires me to be there 24/7 for it to run. 𝗦𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝟭𝟬 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻: 1. I got help from business owners who had phased out. 2. I gradually started removing myself more and more from the day-to-day. 3. I focused on the 1 TO MANY aspect of Y&L. (Rather than 1-2-1). 4. We started creating clear roles (not just a split to-do list) 5. We started hiring. 6. We reset our client's expectations. 7. We accepted some clients would churn. 8. We focused on replacing them with new clients who didn't have the expectation for me to be there 24/7. 9. We dedicated my extra time to focus on working ON the business. 10. We began to see exponential growth in Revenue and developments. I then doubled down on working ON the business time... And I have never looked back since. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗜 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝗡 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 7𝟬+ 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗮 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸, 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗮𝘀 £𝟳𝟭𝟬𝟬. 𝗡𝗼𝘄, we are hitting £30,000+ months. Less time, more cash, bigger team, MORE LEVERAGE.

🔍 𝐍𝐨𝐧-𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐄𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬: 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬? Across the globe, non-competes are becoming less enforced, and as a result, more companies are turning to strong and enforceable non-solicits for their salespeople. From my conversations, most agree this shift is a good thing. Non-solicits, especially for customers are seen as essential, but the declining relevance of non-competes changes the game for hiring. 💡 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐱 𝐢𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐝. The days of hiring someone just for their "book of contacts" are over. Whether it’s a physical Rolodex or a digital network, relying solely on it is no longer enough. The likelihood is your new hire can't contact their great network immediately anyway! 🙂 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐱. In today’s world, a strong personal brand matters more than a contact list. Salespeople with visible industry presence and credibility attract opportunities and build trust quickly. Hiring for reputation and influence brings long-term value beyond just "who they know" when they join you. 🚀 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 & 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞. Building a top-tier sales team now requires focusing on skills and attitude. It’s crucial to hire people who not only have the drive but also complement the team—making the team stronger as a whole. Like the best sports teams, the key is finding individuals who elevate each other’s performance. 🔑 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲: Hire for capability, reputation, attitude, and team fit - not just for a contact list. That’s the recipe for long-term success. #Sales #Hiring #NonCompete #NonSolicit #BusinessGrowth #Teamwork
