For me, it is Jude Habib at Sounddelivery Media. Her devotion to making sure people with lived experience are supported to tell their stories in the media is nothing short of incredible. You probably don’t know that Jude and her team are behind some of the most hard hitting headlines in the media this year, because they do everything so humbly and in such an altruistic way 🥰
Such a lovely post to read - especially in this sort of "flat" period between Christmas and New Year.
Kirsten Mitchell at Spoons Charity - an absolute star, and even with an incredibly difficult year she continues to support so many people, making a difference to those who have experienced neonatal care. Kirsten, you’re ace! 🌟
Definitely you Vic!
You! 👏🏽♥️
Laura Riley for her unshakeable belief in growing Mums In Need, the charity she founded following her own lived experience, to address post-separation abuse. The journey's not been without its ups and downs, but she's remained true to MIN's mission and vision, building up a strong Board, team and organisation that keeps the Mins (service users) front and centre. Over the years, I've observed as she's grown into the CEO role, making it her own and building on her experience and increasing confidence. No year is ever easy at a charity - and this one was no different. However, what says it all, is that MIN now weathers the storms, staying strong while still staying focused on the long term goal. Thank you Laura Riley for everything that you do. 💜
