Last week, FarLit organized a three-day seminar in Tórshavn for translators from Faroese into various languages. The event featured lectures and meetings with Faroese authors. Additionally, participants had the opportunity to engage in cultural and literary outings, enhancing their understanding and appreciation of the Faroese landscape and its literary heritage. The finale was a multilingual poetry reading in Tórshavn. Where the translators did a multilingual reading together with poet Vónbjørt Vang. Vónbjørt read from her collection Svørt Orkidé and the translators read their translations in their respective languages - 10 languages in total. Participating translators: Anya M.
