Unlock the full potential of your plants by focusing on enhancing photosynthesis—the fundamental process that drives their growth. Photosynthesis is the mechanism through which plants convert sunlight into the energy they need to grow, thrive, and produce. By optimizing this vital process, you can significantly boost plant growth and achieve a healthier, more productive farm. With optimal root zone moisture for each plant, photosynthesis is maximized, leading to abundant yields. GroTron ensures this precise moisture control, enhancing photosynthesis and boosting plant growth. Substrate free Kale R&D ☘ In the world of hydroponic farming, moisture control is more than just a technical detail; it's one of the main struggles we hear from growers weekly—mainly as a result of saturated single-use substrates typically used. Why is precision moisture control important? 🔹 Optimal Nutrient Uptake: Ensures plants get the nutrients they need, preventing deficiencies and toxicities. 🔹 Prevents Root Diseases: Keeps roots healthy by avoiding conditions that lead to root rot and other diseases. 🔹 Efficient Oxygen Supply: Balances water and oxygen, crucial for robust root growth and plant health. 🔹 Resource Management: Reduces energy and resource consumption by minimising the need for constant adjustments. Moisture control is the backbone of a successful hydroponic system, driving sustainability and efficiency. At GyroPlant, we're committed to leveraging our substrate-free technologies to enable optimum moisture control. NO MORE SATURATED SUBSTRATES! Just one of the many benefits of going SUBSTRATE FREE. 🌿 #SustainableFarming #Innovation #AgTech #DWCSystems #GyroCup #IndoorFarming #SustainableAgriculture #cea #greenhouses #hydroponics #GyroPlant #innovateuk Aurélie B. How much of a difference can proper soil management make? We often talk about how regenerative agriculture practices, such as reduced tillage and cover crops, improve soil structure and health—for example, by increasing organic matter accumulation. But how does this translate into practice? The answer lies in the image below. The two samples represent soils managed in completely different ways: 👈🏻 On the left, soil cultivated with regenerative agriculture practices, characterized by stable aggregates, greater water infiltration capacity, and a structure resistant to dispersion. 👉🏻 On the right, conventionally managed soil, which shows a fragile structure prone to disintegration and erosion upon contact with water. 🧐 Why this difference? Regenerative practices, promoted by Horta srl, increase organic carbon content, enhance soil structure, and stabilize soil aggregates. This results in: ✅ Improved water retention, crucial for coping with extreme weather events. ✅ Reduced erosion, preserving soil fertility and structure. #agriculture #DSS #regenerativeagriculture #susteinability #farmer #agtech #digitalagriculture #soil
