In Summer 2023, FarmPEAT created this series of diagrams to illustrate raised bog formation. The series outlines how fens transition into raised bogs and become a nutrient-poor, acidic habitat where Sphagnum moss and other peatland species thrive. It can be used as a classroom resource to teach young people about the importance of the Midlands peatland landscape. The future of tree surveying could be virtual! In this week's episode of Inside Innovators, I join the Arboricultural Association to showcase the arboricultural industry to school and college leavers. We hit more tree risk and condition surveys at church sites across the Midlands for Rob Rainford 🌳💪🏼 and we ask Edward Penna to tidy up some design work in preparation for signwriting our NEW VAN! The video 🎥 is on YouTube (link in the comments) I say it each week but, as you can imagine, these episodes take a bit of effort to film and edit alongside running a small business so any support is greatly appreciated 💚 #arboriculture #vlog

DID YOU KNOW THAT WE PROCESS 34GB OF WORDS EVERY DAY - THE EQUIVALENT OF 174 NEWSPAPERS? To survive this daily word-avalanche, it helps knowing… 1. That in the beginning is the word. 2. That the word-users* are the only specie confronted with this daily 34GB avalanche of our own making. 3. No other element, plant, or animal must deal with words. 4. However, they must deal with the word-users*. 5. Words don’t describe anything. 6. Words merely describe how the word-users* see everything. *Describe themselves as humans >>> What’s your view on this? >>> Reshare if you agree #avalanche #begin #cmba #education #human #know #news #newspaper #personalgrowth #schindlersword #school #selfimprovement #words, #wordusers
